Jennifer Sauer Jennifer Sauer is an author, photographer, and tea enthusiast who reports on connoisseur tea and American tea culture in her blog, Bon Teavant. Her first journey into artisan tea and tea culture is documented in her book, The Way to Tea: Your Adventure Guide to San Francisco Tea Culture (2007). Jennifer will be sharing two “connoisseur series” tea tastings in which participants view, smell, and taste two to three different teas and must guess the differences between them. “Processing method, terroir, age, or quality? What is different about these teas?” This is a great way to experience artisan tea and learn how to taste and recognize different aspects of fine teas.
