Suzette Hammond

Suzette Hammond is with Peet’s Coffee and Tea (Berkeley, CA), where she has been a coffee and tea Trainer in three very unique markets (Portland, Boston, SF Bay Area) and has worked in several company divisions (Retail, Learning and Development, Foodservice, corporate Customer Service).  She is an Instructor for the Specialty Tea Institute and serves on both its Advisory Board and Education Committee. She also works with the World Tea Expo as a Cupping Coordinator for the World Tea Championship.

Tea is very much a way of life for Suzette, not just a chosen field: she is a student of chanoyu (Japanese tea ceremony) with Urasenke Foundation in San Francisco and has also studied Korean tea ceremony with fellow STI Instructor, Yoon Hee Kim. Suzette resides in the Bay Area.
