How To Make Moist And Delicious Scones -

       This class will focus on how to make her famous scones. Not only will she show you how, but she will also give you secret tips so that your scones will turn out perfectly every time. Included will be free samples of scones and tea.
       Participants will learn the basic steps to making delicious scones, how to adapt the recipe to create their own unique varieties and learn the tips and tricks to preparing scones ahead of time if they need large quantities for a party.

Amy Lawrence

Amy Lawrence is an example for women who have had many successful careers in life including teacher and business owner. With a master's degree in Special Education she taught for 11 years. In 2003 she decided to pursue her passion and opened her tea room, "An Afternoon to Remember." Her tea room won many awards including Best Small Tea Room in the U.S. in 2006, KCRA's A-List 2007, 2008 and 2009 and Sacramento Magazine's Best Tea Room in 2008.

In 2009 she closed her tea room in order to pursue her on-line company, Afternoon to Remember Fine Tea.

Amy has published 8 books and sold over 14,000 of them. She is currently working on several new projects including resources for tea room owners, and starting a second tea company called, Treasured Leaf (web site coming soon) in addition to Afternoon to Remember Fine Tea and Gifts.
