To truly understand something, go to the source. This was my mentality when I first became interested in tea in 2016.
I booked a ticket to China with one contact in Guangdong (my uncle, who owns a tea shop) and let fate navigate me when I was there.
After 4 Spring sourcing trips (until COVID in 2020), I've learned and experienced more than could have imagined in 2016. I'll be sharing my learnings about tea culture, geography, production, and economics during this session.
