The ironically-named Michael J. Coffey founded Tea Geek over a decade ago to provide educational events and content about tea for people with more than a casual interest in the world's best beverage. He was president of the planning committee of the very first Northwest Tea Festival, is working on a tea book, Evolution of a Tea Geek, and co-hosts a podcast about both tea and technology called TechTea. When he's not talking about tea, he teaches science, some Latin, business technology management, and is a small business consultant. And even then, he usually works tea into the conversation.
