She will discuss traditional tea regions such as China, Japan, Taiwan, and South Korea where tea has been grown for centuries and developed for domestic consumption, as well as regions where tea growing came about as a result of colonization (Indonesia, India, Sri Lanka, East Africa, etc.) and regions that have developed much more recently to create jobs, as a cash crop, or simply because people love growing tea.
