This historical and cultural presentation will include:
how tea was first cultivated in the Black Sea Region in the 1930s,
the daily lives of those involved in its production and preparation,
and the multi-faceted ways in which tea permeates every aspect of social, cultural, and business life in Turkey.
Attendees will learn about the history of tea houses, tea gardens, tea time, and the unique instruments of Turkish tea service.
